OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a 12-month contract role onsite in San Jose, CA.

**Successful candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and able to go W2**

PAY RATE:

• $90-$105 per hour

OVERVIEW:

Complete tasks relating to Migration from legacy Nortel PBX system to Cisco VoIP platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specific Tasks include:
  • Assess - Current state of Nortel PBX system and map out Analog and Digital ports.
  • Recommend - Future state with Cisco VoIP platform.
  • Implement - Future state of the new system.
  • Test - Test future state in non-production environment.
  • Support and Maintain - Support issues and questions coming from the future state.
  • Knowledge Transfer - Knowledge transfer to County personnel regarding the future state.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP/Telecom and Nortel PBX system.
• Ability to design and/or configure the network infrastructure for deployment of Cisco Unified Communications technology.
• Experience Requirements:
  • Hand-on experience of Nortel PBX system.
  • Hands-on experience on all aspects of Cisco VoIP technology and its implementation (e.g. CUCM, Unity VM system, Paging etc).
  • Experience working in a hospital environment.
