Sheri Sherrell, President, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas. Sheri comes to DCS with an extensive background in building corporate infrastructure and a fresh perspective of marketing strategies. Prior to joining DCS, Sheri was responsible for navigating through government agencies for both product and service approvals. As the Co-Founder of Sentida Corporation, she successfully launched a revolutionary new product that required FDA approval and acceptance by the medical community. Her additional responsibilities included creating the necessary processes and procedures as well as creating the appropriate team to execute the business plan. Overseeing all aspects of the business, Sheri successfully expanded the operations. Prior to her role at Sentida, Sheri was the managing member of a large real estate partnership managing all day-to-day activities.
DCS was founded in 1990 by Gary Sherrell, a Tandem Technical Consultant. Early in his career, Gary experienced firsthand the need for a consulting services firm to raise the bar and value their consultants as “partners”. This core value became the foundation of DCS, and through our practice DCS has grown to more than 300 IT Professionals across the country.
Vice President, Business Operations
Holly joined DCS in 1993 and has been involved in almost every aspect of DCS including Office Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Contracts Administration, Staff Development, and Event Planning. Holly graduated from City University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and project management.
Vice President, Office Operations
Debbie joined DCS in June of 1999. Debbie is responsible for the consultant payroll, 401(k), and all other human resource issues. Prior to DCS, Debbie worked as a Customer Services Manager at American Reporting Corporation for 10 years.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Jennifer joined DCS in October of 1997. Jennifer is responsible for managing and maintaining key accounts, as well as developing and expanding DCS’ government and public sector presence and client base. Jennifer is based out of the corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas and has over 10 years of experience working with State and Local Government. When not in client meetings or writing RFP responses, Jennifer works closely with Sheri Sherrell in community outreach programs with organizations such as Austin Area Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.
Vice President, Business Development
Jadi joined DCS in January of 1995. Jadi is responsible for managing and maintaining key accounts as well as developing new clients nationwide. Jadi and Jenelle Thomas work closely together to ensure a seamless Sales experience for clients. Jadi has performed many aspects of Sales, Recruiting, and Administration during her career at DCS.
Director, Business Development
Jenelle joined DCS in January of 2003 as our Director of First Impressions. In 2005, Jenelle was promoted to Recruiting and Sales Coordinator, and in 2015 promoted to Director, Business Development. Jenelle’s primary focus is managing and building relationships with current and potential DCS clients and assisting them with their needs. Jenelle works closely with the sales and recruiting teams to set recruiting priorities. She provides overall coordination of the workflow for fulfilling client resource requests.
Manager, Strategic Accounts
Megan joined DCS in November of 2010. Megan works closely with the Austin Sales Team to manage and maintain key accounts in Texas. Prior to joining DCS, Megan worked 11 years in the customer service industry, employed in both restaurant and retail sales positions. Megan graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Senior Vice President, Recruiting
Jaclyn started her career in IT Recruiting with DCS in 1998. She is responsible for building relationships with potential DCS consultants and assisting them in their job placement at strategic accounts nationwide. In addition, she serves as the Consultant’s point of contact while on a consulting engagement for DCS. Jaclyn attended Central Washington University and received a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
Vice President, Strategic Recruiting
Rick joined DCS in October of 1997. Rick is focused on recruiting the best possible talent to assist both consultants and clients with meeting their key objectives. Prior to DCS, Rick worked at Microsoft for nine years managing an internal customer support group, running day-to-day operations, and recruiting additional staff members. Following his tenure at Microsoft, he worked for a vendor as an Account Manager responsible for Sales and Support.
Senior Consultant, Austin Recruiting
Pete joined the DCS Austin Team in October of 2017. As Senior Consultant, he is responsible for locating and placing hard to find candidates and building solid relationships with partners across multiple organizational levels. Pete graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Diana joined DCS as a Senior Administrator, Consultant Services in November 2013 and is now a Technical Recruiter. With prior experience in healthcare staffing, Diana seeks out the best talent in the IT industry and assists them in finding challenging and rewarding opportunities in the Austin area. Before DCS, Diana worked as a healthcare recruitment specialist supporting registered nurses in contracts nationwide. Diana graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Nikki joined DCS in March of 2012 as our Director of First Impressions. In 2016, Nikki was promoted to Senior Administrator, Sales and Recruiting where she managed travel, contract paperwork and provided support to the consultants, sales and recruiting team. In June of 2021 Nikki transitioned to a Technical Recruiter. She brings tremendous energy to the team as she sets a positive tone for every engagement at DCS. Before joining DCS, Nikki was in the healthcare industry where she worked in large family practices and specialty treatment facilities.
Senior Administrator, Sales and Recruiting
Coreen joined DCS as a Recruiting Support Administrator in August 2013. In 2016, Coreen was promoted to Senior Administrator, Sales and Recruiting. Coreen is responsible for managing consultant agreements, compliance documents, preparing resumes, and assisting consultants while on assignment. Before DCS, Coreen fulfilled staffing needs for a variety of clients including Microsoft and Amazon. Coreen graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
Recruiting Support Administrator
Evie joined the DCS team in March of 2017 as our Office Administrator and was promoted to Recruiting Support Administrator. Evie supports and works closely with the entire Austin recruiting team by preparing resumes, assisting consultants while on assignment, and making sure that the recruiting team runs smoothly. She is a proud native Texan with roots in Houston. Evie is a graduate from Texas State University with degrees in Entrepreneurial Studies and International Business.
Recruiting Support Administrator
Jenna joined DCS in 2016 as Director of First Impressions. In 2022 she was promoted to Recruiting Support Administrator. Jenna supports and works closely with the entire Austin recruiting team by preparing resumes, assisting consultants while on assignment, and making sure that the recruiting team runs smoothly. Before joining DCS, Jenna worked in the dental field where she helped offices with their needs for dental assistant and front desk staffing.
Senior Manager, Customer Finance
Ann joined DCS in December of 1998 as our Director of First Impressions. In 2003, she was promoted to the Finance Department as the Office Administrator, and now serves as our Senior Manager, Customer Finance. She is currently responsible for managing corporate and client finances for DCS, including invoicing, accounts payable, vendor management, and other various office administration duties. Ann works closely with our Vice President of Office Operations to insure the back office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Administrator, Sales and Recruiting
Karina joined DCS in May 2022. Her responsibilities include reference checks, preparing resumes, consultant welcome packets, birthday and anniversary gifts and many other projects to support the Sales and Recruiting teams. Her passion drives her to contribute to the overall function of the office and to dedicate herself to the DCS mission. Prior to joining DCS, she worked as a Human Resource Generalist with a focus in recruiting at a local auto dealership group. She is currently enrolled at EGCC pursuing an AAB in Professional Office Management.
