OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for for two (2) Senior Epic Willow Analysts for nine (9) month remote contract roles in Yonkers, NY.
PAY RATE:
- $90-$100 / hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the design, build, testing, deployment, and optimization of Epic Willow Ambulatory, Inventory, and Specialty Pharmacy functionality across the health system.
- This role partners with pharmacy leadership, clinical staff, and IT project teams to server as a subject matter expert for ambulatory and specialty pharmacy workflows.
- Configure and validate application settings to support safe and efficient outpatient pharmacy operations.
- Review and validate build performed by Application Analysts, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to governance and change-control processes.
- Coordinate and participate in ongoing operational support activities including end-user engagement, workflow validation, troubleshooting, issue analysis, and readiness assessments for build changes or workflow updates.
- Provide user support and training as needed for updated or newly introduced Willow functionality.
- Collaborate with training teams to develop or update educational materials and assist in delivering training sessions for pharmacists, technicians, and operational leaders.
- Work closely with pharmacy third-party systems to ensure integration stability, data accuracy, and consistent workflow alignment across the medication-use process.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support interface maintenance, identify integration-related issues, and optimize cross-system performance.
- Analyze the need for system modifications and collaborate with Epic Technical Services, Montefiore IT associates, and third-party vendors to implement enhancements or workflow improvements.
- Provide advanced application troubleshooting and independently resolve critical application issues, integration problems, or workflow-related defects.
- Interpret pharmacy end-user requirements to determine optimal solutions within the Willow Ambulatory, Inventory, and Specialty Pharmacy framework, identifying risks, workflow gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate clinical and operational pharmacy workflows to ensure alignment with patient safety standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
- Develop and execute test plans for new build, upgrades, medication file changes, order set updates, and configuration adjustments.
- Document all testing results and maintain appropriate traceability for regulatory, audit, and change-control needs.
- Partner with the Help Desk and support teams to address escalated issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable resolutions for application or workflow-related problems.
- Coordinate vendor or internal stakeholder activities related to hardware, software, interfaces, and integration points impacting the Willow ecosystem.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to Application Analysts and other team members, ensuring consistent and high-quality maintenance of the Willow environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have Willow Ambulatory Certification; Willow Inventory Certification; Willow Specialty Pharmacy Certification.
