Description

OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an Epic ASAP Analyst for a six (6) month remote contract role in New York.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The primary function of this position is to build, test, validate and support ASAP.
  • Analyzes key ED workflows and determines appropriate EMR workflow.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, if required.
  • Assist vendors to understand CH's operational needs and to support validation of workflows and configurations.
  • Participates in all phases of project implementation (planning, build, test, train, implement, production support).
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and product management skills in interpreting customer business
  • Collaborates with team and vendor to create and execute implementation plans.
  • Facilitates identifying and resolving system issues which have an enterprise-wide impact on the system.
  • Participates in the implementation of software upgrades and updates.
  • Successfully utilizes Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, and Visio as needed.
  • Actively participates in live and post-live support. This may include training, follow up communication, and application changes. This requires availability to work all shifts during go-lives and upgrades.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Dragon One Medical, Preferred.
  • Epic ASAP Certified, implementations, upgrades, MS Office, Project, Visio, Required.
  • Out of state travel for Epic certification is Required.
  • 24/7 on-call rotation, as well as working off-hours to support go-lives is Required.
  • The systems analyst for the ED module of Epic (ASAP) will work closely with the Manager of the EPIC ASAP/Orders team.
  • The System Analyst will be responsible for the support of ASAP as well as two EKG systems (GE and Philips) and the voice dictation system (Dragon One Medical).
  • This person will need excellent time management skills, can work independently, have good communication skills and can show technical ability and competency.
