OVERVIEW:

This person will be responsible for leading the FDM, FIN Accounting, and Budgets Functional Lead roles for a Workday Financials initial implementation business process alignment period taking place prior to the Workday Financials implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for working with the client to create their Foundational Data Model (FDM) and utilizing their extensive accounting background to help them build out their new chart of accounts.
• Work through with the client their current business processes, demonstrate, and consult on Workday best practices, and provide suggestions on ways to streamline and create efficiencies for their FDM, Financial Accounting, and Budgets functional areas. The foundation that is established during this process will lay the framework for the Workday Financials implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Workday Accounting Center Certification (could also be called Financials Accounting), Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) Certification.
• Minimum three (3) years’ Workday FDM experience.
• Workday Financial Accounting Core experience (hands on configuration).
• Workday Budgets experience (hands on configuration).
• Led at least two (2) full life cycle implementations.
• Government experienced is preferred (almost a must have) as this will be a lead role without any support from others and the Client will be looking to revamp their chart of accounts.
• Some travel required. Only pre-approved expenses will be paid for by Client.
