OPPORTUNITY:

 

We are looking for TDR Team Lead for 12-month contract opportunity in the Yonkers, NY area.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • The TDR Team Lead oversees assignments and the work of TDR application analysts as well as performing similar tasks to support the team as they build in Epic.
  • Coordinates and oversees testing, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Reports to the TDR Project Mgr.
  • Participate in day-to-day execution of advanced level technical activities. In conjunction with the manager, provide direction to a small team.
  • Oversee assignments and the work of team members.
  • Participate in planning team’s work.
  • Assist Project Manager with project planning, developing program priorities, resource requirements, and objectives. Identify, analyze, and communicate risks and issues to project management.
  • Provide high-level customer support and service.
  • Mitigate escalations of client incidents and issues and resolve issues through analysis and troubleshooting and utilizing other technical teams.
  • Supply technical expertise and guidance to manager and team.
  • Assist in defining problems and objectives, describing the requirements, determining costs and benefits.
  • Participate in test planning and testing systems, upgrades, and any system modifications.
  • Document all outcomes of testing.
  • Provide go-live and rollout support.
  • Provide device troubleshooting support for the application.
  • Design database queries and create reports utilizing a report-writing tool.
  • Provide timely, effective, and professional customer support.
  • Analyze necessary application and device modifications and work with the appropriate associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification.
  • Coordinate work with the project team staff and provide daily status reports.
  • Track and report progress.
  • Coordinate deployment of TDR staff with facility and department management.
  • Assess the overall scope of testing activities and determine needs for additional testing.
  • Interact with clinicians to obtain clarification on the use of devices as they relate to their clinical workflows.
  • Communicate frequently with staff to ensure failed cases documented by the testers have enough data for issue investigation and resolution.
  • Assist with the TDR testing when Lead duties allow.
  • Work with the team to perform VSPX printer building.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Active Epic Clinical Module Certification.
  • Excel skills.
  • Design database queries and create reports utilizing a report-writing tool.
  • Previous experience and ability to oversee, manage, and drive towards established goals of a TDR team.
  • Strong attention to punctuality, adherence to schedule, and detail.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and work on collaborative teams.
  • Proven ability to coordinate break/fixes among workstations, printers, status boards, paper scanners, barcode scanners, and faxing from Epic.
  • Experience working in a hospital or outpatient environment related to TDR efforts, desired.
  • Ability to plan, document, and follow through with testing with project, IT, and operations staff, highly desired.
  • Experience coordinating deployment and testing of BCA PCs in large hospital and ambulatory care settings with hundreds of BCA PCs, highly desired.
